   All children come to purchase Christmas gifts for their

    families for $1 each.

Christmas Angel Tree

    Pick an ornament off the Christmas Tree in our entryway to 

    buy a gift for the person in need who is on it.

Children's Ministry Service Fair

   Kids make baskets for local organizations to help the 

    people they serve.

Oasis Meal 

   As part of our Wednesday night services we provide a

   meal for anyone in our community. This meal has a sugges

    Jubilate Choir

Traditional choir that sings for the 8:30 AM worship service.

    Alleluia Ringers

       Bell choir that plays for the 8:30 AM worship service.

    Worship Team 

       Contemporary music band that plays for the

       10:45 AM worship service.

    Special Musical Messages

        Music played by individuals or small groups during 

        either service to enhance the worship experience.

Worship Assistants


    Read the stories from the Bible for everyone to hear.


    Communion Assistants

     Distribute communion. 



     Assist worshippers before and during the service.



       Greet worshipers as they come to church.


Sound & Video Tech

       Set up and maintain sound and video for worship.

    Slide Tech

       Advances the slides that we use in worship.

    Altar Guild

       Prepares the worship elements of the sanctuary, 

       including Holy Communion, paraments and


Service for the Church

Action Corps

    Provide hospitality during Sunday morning fellowship.

Action Corps "Over and Above"

    Can help fill in throughout the year for Sunday morning

    fellowship hospitality and funeral lunches.

Outdoor Worship Setup

    Get outdoor worship set up for summer 10:15 AM


Flowers & Beautification

    Maintains the aesthetic of the church, inside and out.

Kitchen Team

     Keeps the kitchen in good working condition.

Funeral Coordinator

    Coordinates funeral lunches, orders and cooks food - this

    is a volunteer position with a stipend. Talk to Susie

    Reitmeier in the office if you'd like more information.

Wedding Coordinator

     Assists the bridal party in everything from clarifying               options for decorating to the service itself, including

     the rehearsal.

Visitation Team

    Visits members who are home-bound.

Prayer Chain

    There is a team of saints whose ministry is prayer support for those requesting prayers. These prayers are confidential. 

Oasis Cooks and Servers

    Cooks and Serves the Wednesday evening meal.

Children's Ministry Team

    Assists the Director of Children's Ministry in the Children's

    Ministry programming.

Youth Ministry Team

    Assists the Director of Youth Ministry in the Youth Ministry 


Office Assistants

    Answer calls & take messages during the Tuesday morning

    staff meeting.

Ruby's Pantry

   Ruby's Pantry is a faith based "pop up pantry" with 

   delivery points in communities that provide a church

   sponsor.  Participants pay $20 and get large quantities of

   different foods.

Becker County Food Pantry

    Food Pantry in Detroit Lakes open to Beck County

    Residence.  Located at 1308 Rossman Avenue in Detroit

    Lakes, MN.  For more information, please call the food

Churches United for the Homeless

   This is a great resource for those looking for shelter, food

   and support.  

Mental Health Hotline

   The Becker County & White Earth Reservation Mental

   Health Hotline is a 24 hour crisis line to call for help.  The
