First Lutheran Children’s Ministry is growing in exciting ways! Our Children’s Ministry is Christ centered and child focused. Our mission is to help kids know, love and follow Jesus as they grow in their relationship and service to Him and to others.
We are excited about the ministry we have, where volunteers are placed in the areas they are gifted. We realize that no one likes to do meaningless work. Adult volunteers need to know the work they do fits who they are and is worth their best efforts and sacrifice. If they’re passionate about what they are doing and gifted in working with the age level they best relate to, their commitment is deeper - and so is their joy.
There are many different opportunities in children’s ministry for you to share your gifts and talents and make a difference in the life of a child. We understand there are many things in life that keep us busy; however volunteering your time & talents is what these children need. I know you will pray and see where God is leading you.
